Pom Pom Trees

This year at the Sisters, Oregon Quilters' Affair, I got to take a class with Frieda Anderson, author of "Fun, Fast Fusies".  This entire little landscape (14" x 11") was simply fused together, then quilted and stitched as desired.  Her method is novel and fun.  We worked with Frieda's luscious hand-dyed fabrics, that are vibrant and delightfully variegated.  See more about Frieda on her wonderful Blog:  http://www.friestyle.blogspot.com/

The Pom Pom Tree quilt is my original design that is at once surreal and whimsical.  I think I'm going to do some more of these little quilts!
