No Doubt ~ I'm a Rainbow Trout

My first real attempt at collage work on a quilt is pictured below.  The quilt is my original design, employing some of the collage techniques from Susan Carlson's book "Free-Style Quilts".

A Palace of a Different Color

Cherrywood Hand-Dyed Fabric company hosted a quilt challenge called "Wicked" to honor the current Broadway play of the same name.  Here is my entry using their fabrics.  Finished size is 20" square.  I didn't win, but my quilt will be part of the traveling show for 2014/2015. There were some amazing quilts in the competition, including my cousin's quilt which also earned a traveling spot in the exhibit.  Congrats to Karin Strom-Shikaloff.
